What could be more exciting than a 320 HP Allison t63c18 Turboshaft driven Triumph Spitfire?
Several graduating students in Arizona received the rusty Triumph Spitfire for free from a local British sports car shop. They are dropping in a turbine engine as part of a mechanical engineering senior project. I think the $3,000 budget and stock brakes should make it challenging – to say the least.
